AIBF Business Person Of The Year

On Tuesday 31 October, Rob Hardy received the All-Ireland Business Foundation UK-Irish Business Person Of The Year 2023 Award at aboard the Stena Adventurer. Captain J Hambley Jones, Senior Master of Stena Adventurer handed the award to Hardy onboard.

Hardy, founder of EORI Group – a groundbreaking venture in the customs process, received the award in recognition of how he has excelled in his business, whilst demonstrating a genuine appreciation for his Irish roots. The All-Ireland Business Foundation’s decision was based on broad criteria, including leadership and vision, business accomplishments and ancestral heritage, of which Hardy excelled at all.

A spokesperson from the All-Ireland Business Foundation said: “It is with great pleasure and pride that we extend our warmest congratulations to Robert Hardy, the esteemed founder of EORI group, on being named the UK-Irish Business Person of the Year 2023. This accolade not only recognises Robert’s outstanding achievements in the business world but also pays tribute to his deep connection with his Irish ancestral roots. As a UK-born entrepreneur with Irish heritage, Robert Hardy’s accomplishments exemplify the power of bridging cultures and forging strong business relationships between the United Kingdom and Ireland.”
